We choose the most appropriate method of transportation based on the river and the plan for the day. We ensure that you have all the necessary gear and accessories for the most successful day possible.

Jet Boats
Aluminum jet boats are about 16' long by 5' wide and have a 30 – 60 hp outboard with jet drives. They travel up to 30 mph and draw very little water (only 3 - 4inches) when in motion. Each carries a guide and 2 or 3 anglers.

Rafts
They are launched at the top of the chosen section of river so anglers can float down stopping at pools and runs to fish. Inflatable rafts are 10 –12’ long, steered by oars. They carry equipment, 2 or 3 fishermen and a guide.

Helicopters
A Bell 206 Longranger has seating for six passengers - usually four clients, one guide and a pilot. A custom-built rod holder enables spey rods to be carried at full length as an exterior load. Padding and tubing ensures that all rods are kept safe and secure while in motion. Each angler has a window seat and is equipped with a headset. All guests attend a helicopter safety briefing before flying.

You need to bring

1. 8 - 9 weight handed fly rod or spey rod in an 8 - 10 weight
2. A large reel with at least 150 feet of backing and a good drag system
3. Both floating and sinking lines (type 3) and 8 - 12 lb tippet
4. Polarized glasses
5. A selection of your favorite steelhead dry and wet flies
6. Good neoprene or breathable waders (neoprene waders are a must) and felt soled boots
7. Good raincoat or wading jacket with a hood
8. Wading stick if desired

1. Thermal underwear or wader clothing
2. Wool or heavy fleece sweater
3. Insulated socks
4. 2 pairs of gloves or mitts
5. Warm hat or toque
6. Casual eveningwear, jeans, fleece pants, button shirts ect.
